12 nights on the roads, we spent two nights each in Risskov (north Aarhus), Odense and Roskilde. Start and ended in Copenhagen. We used the national cycling route website for source gpx files ( https://ruter.dk/?lang=en ). Gpx files uploaded to komoot for fine tuning; routes synced to my wahoo elemnt for on road navigation. We wanted to see the Dambo trolls that we passed near ( https://www.thomasdambo.com/ ). We stayed mostly at bed and brekkie places and bought snacks on the road. National routes are generally well signed but we also purchased hard copies of the maps to go along with our digital routing. Route: Copenhagen, Frederiksund, Nyrup (ferry to Aarhus), Risskov, Horsens, Vejle, Odense, Roskilde and return to Copenhagen. We stopped at many Viking sites (Trelleborg and Living Legends Park) and other sites (ex. Passage Graves). We really enjoyed the Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde (be sure to book the voyage on the replica ship, we did not know that was an option). Route between Aarhus and Vejle had some nice climbs, one near Vejle was nearly 16%! Weather was a bit cool at the beginning but this las week was very pleasant. Not much rain either, we never spent a whole day in rain gear. Nice place to tour, I highly recommend Denmark.

We spent 1 night each on the route stops listed except for the three places we spent two nights as listed.

    2. I loved touring in Denmark, although I never touched the mainland. Seems like you had a brilliant time!
