Hi, I’m just a non bike riding wife trying to do a good deed for her husband.

My husband has misplaced the straw for his hydration system (canyon speedmax CF SLX) and in order to replace it I’d have to order this product (with $69-$99 shipping from outside the US) or replace the item for over $100. After calling Canyon this just seems like an unreasonable answer since it seems to be a pretty generic tube.

Has anyone had luck using a different part or product? Or any suggestions I may not think of due to my general lack of bike knowledge?

Thanks for any insight!

  1. It’s just a plastic tube with a couple of o-rings, maybe someone who has it, can measure its inner and outer diameter, and you can find a generic one for a dollar on ebay! Possibly you could even measure yourself the diameter of the bit that fits to, on the bike.
