Replaced Shimano HG50 with HG400, now there’s a new noise when I’m pedalling – similar to ratchet freehub noise, but louder. Seems to come from either the cassette or the derailleur pulley closer to it. How to troubleshoot?

Chain appears to be routed incorrectly through the RD. It should be on the other side of that tab that is between the pulley wheels.
