[Applause] 107 back at the start of the day and it looks as though they’re about to fight for these bonuses as well here come Bahrain on the left hand side couple of riders are up there too Racing for V group bani on the right take a look at this 44 is yonas K the back of that group there we’ve got gamper alongside Danny Martinez each and every corner as well Road furniture little bits of cobbles on the streets too it’s not simple this no it’s not simple oh no and it’s certainly not simple for tacha who has punctured who’s on the ground and has not approached this final climb with anything like the Serenity and the confidence that he wanted now that might not be key at the end but it’s not the prep he wanted as the three bonus seconds here go to the main man in front Piccolo and behind they’re riding for these seconds so it’s going to be a job now for Pacha to catch up yes they’re riding for the seconds and more so riding for the bottom of the climb to keep your position you know we see a lot of teams present there GC men but are they really you know uh going for the uh bonus uh the time bonuses that are available but yeah for pogacha a real bad moment T poacha here flat front tire and are you thinking what I’m thinking 25 years ago Marco pantani mechanical at the bottom a dance through the traffic to the top the scene has been set the script has been written is T poacha up to playing it and reading those lines to Perfection today well it’s very possible we can see a repeat of that because uh we can see him there he’s just making his way back to the tail end of the pelaton uh you know the teammates will be uh just waiting back for him so he will be back uh he will be back into the pelaton I think uh as we get onto the climb here but Inus you know they been riding so they’re going to continue on setting this pace but uh I I don’t think pgar uh with the r he is you know to get back in here before the CL seconds go to gide Thomas he takes the two and that is interesting one goes to filipo Ghana so two bonus seconds for Gant Thomas and something is changing something is twisting all the talk before the jeto Italia about how this was a one-man show yes there’s 20 stages to go yet but there are problems around every corner the J is a tough knock to crack and UAE Emirates are being asked to apply all the force they can it is a 25 second deficit on the peltin now for Pacha and it’s a 1 minute 18 second lead for Andrea Pico 10 km to go on stage two of the jro Italia amazing what has just happened a stroke of awful luck for Tad poacha

    1. Tough to go around a corner with a front flat tire.
But he rolled out of it pretty good. Landed on his feet.
Happened to me in the Utah state championships criterium but I flatted the rear wheel right before a corner.
Was able to power slide it around just put my foot down a little bit
      .

    2. Such bs commentary apart from the KING Kelly. To even think Pogacar couldnt get back on or actually get the win. You are witnessing the GOAT.

    3. This was just a good old-fashioned puncture. Trying to take a corner with a flat front tyre, regardless of your wheel and tyre set up, is always going to end badly, this is nothing to do with hookless.

    4. Someone will die because the stupid hookless rims – then UCI will finally ban them? 🙄 Everything because of cartel of wheel making companies that want to make their overpriced wheels even cheaper. What a shame.

    5. @1:40 or thereabouts…..comment about Pantani 25 years ago…..well, Marco was a DOPER……and Pogacar is NOT. Keep the DOPERS out of the conversation, please. 🤨
