Wheels look generic(no branding) and are heavy as all, but I’m glad to have my hands on an old trek! I’ve got an older Cannondale as well, so now I need an older stumpjumper😂
I imagine that fork is what got it sent to the dumpster. I would give it a good looking over for ripples/buckling in the top tube and down tube before committing any time to working on it/throwing any money at it.
Weird bike. Never seen a Trek with the u-brake mounted on the inside of the seat stays like that.

I would’ve left it in the dumpster…
