‘96 970 for $70 on marketplace yesterday! The seller is one of us, but didn’t end up using this and wanted to pass it on without jacking up the price, so nice! Came with a nice saddle, and not the original wheelset, earlier vintage LX hubs laced up on Araya rims, which are like 4 mm wider than the 17mm Trek Matrix rims on my other Singletracks.
Put it together today with Suntour ratchets, a Surly Troll fork, Discord Crème stem, Richey Kyote bars, and Wolf Tooth pedals. It rides sweet! Been waiting for the right base to put these parts in one place since last year!
