Mountain Biking from First to Grindelwald in the Jungfrau region of Switzerland’s Bernese Alps.
Some spectacular scenery. To do this route, you can buy a Gondola ticket in Grindelwald and take the bike up with you to First.
From there you can mountain bike all the way down to Grindelwald. Along the way you’ll encounter breathtaking landscapes, swiss cows, mountain cabins and tracks that run through little villages you won’t see otherwise.
The track ranges from tarred to single and dual track.

Can I go to the first for a while and leave my bike there if they have locks or something to leave them on ?
Can you take your bike on the regular gongola and ride down from First all the way to grindelwald?
I used to love the fact that in and around Grindelwald all the signposts told you not the distance to any point but how long walking there would take – 1 hr, 2 hrs or whatever. Its a gorgeous place especially if you're fit.
