You mean despite there not being any evidence that listening to music through headphones increases risk of incident or injury?

Yes, but keep taking up two lanes like this. This rules

So many drivers are on their phones and not paying attention while driving massive SUVs and trucks spewing out exhaust. Bikers are not the problem.

I rely on my ears to ride safely.

You can listen to music and still be aware of your surroundings.
Having music in your ears doesn’t stop you from turning your head.

I’m inironically in favor of riding that way. Take the lane and make them share the road.

I always see this kind of thing as shifting responsibility onto the cyclist the danger is caused by the car. The responsibility should be that of the driver of the car. Or probably more importantly the designer of the infrastructure.

Because no one who drives a car listens to loud music. I’ll continue to use my ear buds because it blocks to outside noise a bit and takes the edge off. I don’t like loud noises from cars or the wind and earbuds help a lot.
Avoid potholes while biking.
Bicycles aren’t the problem.

I hate it when people can’t draw a bicycle frame.

I ride with one ear bud. It’s never been a problem!
