Just in case anyone needs them. I am slowly taking apart and putting my 1988 Rockhopper back together and had a time figuring out how to tension the springs in the brakes.
This helped me immensely, and didn’t find much info around. Figured if anyone needs this, I’ll post it here.
TL;DR – pay attention to spring direction, and the direction to put tension on them depending on whether it is the left or right arm.
