    Wasn’t there an SRAM red rim brake caliper which suffered a number of failures? I dimly recall we put the Ultegra R8000 brake on the girlfriend’s bike for that reason.

  2. They’re comparable to 105 calipers in terms of function. Yes they’d work with Sensah.

    But are those the original pads? They look like it, and if so they’re probably too old and dry to be good. New pads from SwissStop might be a good idea in that case.

    Most of the hardware on those brakes are titanium including the bolts that attached the brake shoes to the calipers. They would be levels above R7000.
