in this video the bike is upside down. i cranked the bike up, spinning the pedals and then held them in place. the rear hub makes this clicking noise. none of the links in the chain seem to be stuck or sticking.

Something internally in your hub is busted. If it’s only when you’re not pedaling it’s in the driver mech. If it also does it while pedaling it could be a bearing.

Sounds like unsealed bearings that aren’t too happy anymore. The spider holding the loose bearings inside is broke or too loose, and at least one bearing is rattling around
