    The braking surface is worn THIN. The rim is going to fail catastrophically. It’s not safe to ride that.

  2. A block of wood on the non bent side. Channel-Lock pliers. Popsicle stick on the bump side to protect the rim. Squeeze. May not be perfect, but better. Get it flat or even indented a bit so brake pads don’t grab.

    The reason why the rim bent so easily, was because it’s very worn out.

    If you can squeeze/hammer it back into it’s original shape, you need to make sure that the tyre bead hooks in properly.

    Keep tyre pressure low, or it’ll blow.
    Please replace rim as quick as possible.

    Consider this “accident” as devine intervention. Or a fortunate coincidence.
    (Like when they find cancer when they were looking for something else)
