Bit of a noob question here… I'm installing bottle cages on my Giant Revolt Advance bike l, which has a carbon frame.. do I keep these washers / spacers on with the cage?

Bit of a noob question here… I'm installing bottle cages on my Giant Revolt Advance bike l, which has a carbon frame.. do I keep these washers / spacers on with the cage?

I have a Revolt 2 and I left them on. I think they’re supposed to go between the bottle cage and the frame to keep the bottle from touching the front derailleur.
