It’s not vintage the way you think. The true vintage Schwinns didn’t have canti bosses or those dropouts, alloy rims, a twist shifter or euro bottom brackets with alloy cranksets.
It’s a great candidate for updating though. Find some old Cook Bros cranks and an XT derailler.

The model is a cruiser supreme. Mid 1990’s, made in Taiwan. I love the old chicago schwinns too but this is an awesome frame if you ask me. I have one of these. It’s a cool platform for a commuter being a classic cruiser style frame, but also having modern brake mounts, braze one for rack and fenders and a 3 piece crank bottom bracket. Enjoy.
