The shock has gone bad. It’s supposed to make a MOO sound when you flip it over.

Sounds like that the volume spacer is not fixed.

Had something similiar with a Rockshox Super Deluxe recently. For me it was just some sort of spacer (dont know how to describe it better) that was sliding up and down the rod inside because a seal on that rod was not in place. If you release all air and compress it once it might be in place again and stop making that noise.
