Bought a dura ace 11 speed chain from Amazon. Seemed like a reputable seller. The box has a printed check mark and no purple sticker on the actual plastic chain packaging though. Does this look fake or legit? Pins are hollow which is a good sign.

It’s fake. Everything you point out is a reason it is fake. Given that it’s from Amazon, it is not surprising.
To add, on the front of the box at the top, the little three boxes there should have reflective stickers there to indicate the level. Dura-ace/XTR should have 3 stickers with golden foil. This box is lacking that.
Packaging aside, the chain itself is obviously fake. It has no HG roll marks and the janky way the corners are cut are a big clue.

Don’t buy consumable parts on Amazon.
Amazon works off a bin system. Every chain/brake pad/etc goes into a bin for its model. If vendor A, B, and C are all selling this chain, they all get binned together. When you buy a chain they just grab one from that bin. If A and B are legit but C is fake, you still have a chance of getting a fake even if you buy from A or B.
Definitely a fake. Every shimano chain I’ve purchased from Amazon in the last few years has been fake. I always get chains from local shops now. Same with brake pads. Amazon is doing nothing about the problem.
Is there something wrong with purchasing from your local bike shops? That’s how we keep our industry alive and fight against fake crap on Amazon.
The more you don’t support your local shops the quicker they will close down.
Also says linkglide instead of hyper glide
