These are my 2 choices and pullin the trigger today but torn on which one is a better buy.

Pretty comparable, not much to agonize over.
If you’re asking this question, probably best to go with the Giant for the air fork and longer dropper. There are a lot of Ibis fanboys here who will try to convince you otherwise though 🙂

The giant has a bunch of in-house components. Not necessarily a bad thing. The suspension is far better though.
Also seems set up for 29 or mullet

Giant will always be cheaper for the components (in other words, better components for the price), but usually lacks in ride quality. Great as a first or second, or even third bike, but once you’re more discerning, most people find they come up short.Â
This being my personal opinion, I know lots of people disagree with me.
