Got a nail stuck in my tire going pretty fast and by the time I stoped the rim had already been punctured a few times.
I’m assuming the rim needs to be replaced but is it relatively safe to throw a tube in and ride it for a few weeks until I get a replacement?

Yikes. Looks like a back wheel so I guess you could if you absolutely had to but still not the greatest idea. I would tape over with Gorilla Tape before rim strip or tape. If it’s a front absolutely not. Good way to loose your teeth.
That’s in a bad spot right next to the stem hole
I would replace that. You can probably ride for a bit. Extra tape like someone suggested
