This appears to be a really solid bike. It appears to have thru axles, decent air fork, dropper post, good brakes, solid drivetrain. It’s really missing nothing.
Seems fair to at least have $800 as a starting point in negotiation. I can’t find a similar specced new bike for less then $1200.

Yes, as long as you remove the reflectors 😉
Since you asked about the fork under another comment, that Recon is fine for most riding, especially starting out. If you decide to upgrade you have a frame with a tapered headtube which gives you plenty of options. If I were to prioritize any upgrade it would probably be the tires to something with a more aggressive tread. Of course that depends more on how/where you ride.

I’d be happy about it at 600 and ok with it at 700.

I have the DRT 1.2 and have been very happy with it.
Coincidentally I saw this same posting last night and was considering upgrading (or just adding another bike…), but talked myself out of it.

You could do better but I wouldn’t say you’re getting ripped off.

Aside from the fork, those are great specs. I wouldn’t have a problem spending $800 on that.

The Coop drt series RIPS harder than it has any right to. I can do things on my dad’s 1.1 comfortably that felt kinda sketchy on my DB hook (which cost $200 bucks more and both were bought new) purely due to better geo and brakes.

800 for a 2.2 is SOLID in my opinion.
