Spend the $1000 and get the warranty. Especially on an ebike.
$1600 difference. Can you get used down to $5000?
Second owner gets 3 year frame warranty instead of lifetime. You need the original sales receipt from the seller.
2 year component warranty is not transferable.
Schedule an inspection at a TREK shop before buying.
