hi will , that was a very high bridge , it always feels strange being under a bridge when you've gone over it a few times, quite a few times we've gone dunham toll bridge on way to lincoln , & we've also sat under it & had a picnic lol , but it can be abit noisy too .
Wigan are very good at present, I have to admit (BOO!) World club champions, third in Super League with a game in hand. That's the team which can pack that stadium! It's a rugby league town, like Warrington and Leigh and the whole area you're passing through. St. Helens doesn't have a canal any more, though it (the Sankey Canal) is being slowly restored. Opened in 1757, it's just about the oldest of the lot. Wigan are in the semi-finals of the cup, too, against Hull KR. They lost to them at the same stage last year by just 1 point. In the women's semis they've got Leeds, so that should be them out.
