You are supposed to use a large towel on the sauna bench therefore there’s not supposed to have any skin touching the sauna bench. Your feet while walking and when the person is too tall, feet will touch the bench.
So, I do not understand your argumentation.
There are over 50 large sauna facilities in the Netherlands. I went to one around Groningen that is an old farm and the a view on farm’s fields. People there are a lot more talkative and friendly (it was a small group, it certainly helps).
I've never been to a sauna, weird hu hahahahah. But I'm happy you had fun!

I would argue that being naked is the best option for sauna, and if the bench is a concern I’d suggest laying a towel down. Being comfortable naked in front of other people is another question of course and can only be answered individually 😊
