At the Siemens press conference, held on the first day of Hannover Messe, the company’s top managers, Cedric Neike and Tony Hemmelgarn, told reporters about how artificial intelligence can influence production processes and presented Siemens Industrial Copilot – a technical solution in which artificial intelligence makes it possible to optimize and perform more efficiently all the tasks arising during the life cycle of a product at an industrial enterprise.

With systems such as Siemens' Industrial Co-Pilot, generative AI will simply make people in programming and engineering jobs superfluous within a few years. Why should companies continue to spend millions on expensive staff when affordable AI solutions can do the same work faster, cheaper and with fewer errors?
The advance of artificial intelligence is unstoppable. Programming through voice commands, automatic error correction, design optimization – all tasks that previously had to be done by humans are now handled with ease by AI. The computing capacities of modern AI far exceed the capabilities of even experienced experts.
It is only a matter of time before companies switch completely to AI for cost reasons. Why pay millions for salaries and training when an AI system is virtually free and maintenance-free once purchased? The competitive advantage is overwhelming.
Engineers and programmers have no choice but to look for alternative careers. Their days are numbered, the future lies in artificial intelligence. Clearly superior and soon to be established in all sectors. The triumph of AI is unstoppable!
