Not much. I think you’d be lucky to get $100 for the whole lot.

If you’re willing to go to the trouble of cleaning it up, selling it all on eBay, and waiting for the right buyers, probably $250-$300 easy. If you mean to sell it all as a lot locally, maybe $150.

Wow! Cool collection. I’ve sold a few similar bits in the last couple years on eBay and I’d estimate 15-35 for the rear derailleurs 40-100 for the cranksets, 10-20 each for shifters/brake levers (Low range being lx/deore, high being the XTR for each). Front derailleurs and canti brakes are a tough sell – as well as some of the other pieces (brake levers to the top left that either have tons of patina or appear generic).
That’s also pre eBay fees and a lot of time and energy selling yourself. I got to $500-600 gross adding them up quickly. Minus fees and possible inclusion of some shipping as an incentive maybe…$350-400 and that’s over 6 months to a year of selling? Trying to offload as a group to someone so that they can sell maybe $250-300?

Really very hard to value all these without more photos and, ideally, descriptions. Your willingness to invest time in cleaning up the parts and answering questions on the parts would answer a lot. You’ll get more selling the things individually in most cases, but that takes a lot of time and patience.
Also, location might matter for a price/value if you sell locally. You’d probably do better in an area with more cyclists and a good economy, such as city/suburbs/college town, than in a rural area in economic decline.
My question is how did you find all this stuff in a garage? That is one serious hoard.
Did you move into a new place that had last been home to a major bicycle theft ring in northern California?

Is that your collection or you found it?

Hey OP ! Do you have a Shimano CX70 down pull front derailleur?

Those Deore DX are all I would need, but I’d take the XTR, too.

If sold individually, look each thing up on eBay for a maybe ambitious top end price.
On my local FB marketplace, someone would probably try to sell all for 300 or something and the post would be on forever. Not many people are looking for a parts bin at market rate.

I’ll take those XTR rear derailleurs if they’re M952’s!

I would take a 10 speed derailleur and shifter lever off your hands if you decide to sell them on Reddit or eBay.

Nice collection!
If you list them here with prices and willingness to ship, I think you’ll do quite well. Look at USPS flat rate shipping and/or pirateship.com for super cheap rates. This is assuming you’re in the US.

When we bought our house the inspector found a 15 year collection of playboys from the late seventies to early nineties…like sure, there’s some nerds who would pay for this stuff but it’s not a fuckin lotto find
