I’ve used a number of multitools for bikepacking, adventure biking and mountain biking alike. I’ve worked as a bike mechanic in the past and am fluent in the art of field jank-repair.
However I’ve been left dissatisfied with my crabkbros m19 in a couple situations. It’s perfect for 95% of situstions, it’s that 5% of situations that can be a real pain.
Not enough leverage to take a pedal off in Mexico. Can barely maneuver around saddle bolts. Reach adjust in drop bar levers, no way.
What’s your solution? A few individual allen wrenches? One of these Blackburn tools?

  1. It’s probably too big for most bike packers but I just bought this little 1/4″ hex bit flex head ratchet kit from harbor freights icon line and I’m a big fan
