Hello guys, how do I unscrew the cage ? Shall I remove the bended part and then remove the screws ? Or I need to unscrew only ? It’s a vintage campagnolo so I’d like to keep it in good condition.
Thanks !
I have never seen this kind of bottle cage, but IMO it should be as easy as just removing the two Bolts. It looks like the bended part should not be removed from the cage part.

It looks impossible without destroying it. I would first spray some penetrating oil, or similar. Then unscrew them with a socket.

with a tool of course! how exactly do you think they installed it?
If this really is a problem, please stop working on bikes. its a screw ffs….

If you buy a socket make sure it has no chamfer on the edge. Meaning most sockets habe a small radius inside so that there are no sharp edges on the tool.
This means you will not get sufficient overlap and most likely it will round the edge of your hex screw.
If you habe a socket you can grind the first half millimeter down so the overlap is 100% on the screw head.

car mechanics have tool for such case (thin walled socket) that fits.

Thanks everyone who gave advice. I got it out with a thin walled 8mm socket.

looks like it would fit a standard 6-8mm socket. [https://www.amazon.com/Crescent-CDS15N-Drive-8mm-Socket/dp/B078Z3B27K](https://www.amazon.com/Crescent-CDS15N-Drive-8mm-Socket/dp/B078Z3B27K)
