New bike to me, I picked up a BMC URS AL 3 in size XS on a pretty good sale. I was looking for an alloy gravel bike with 2x mechanical shifting and this fit the bill. Turns out theres surprisingly few options these days in what I was looking for, after not having kept up with the gravel market for a couple years now.

I was also pretty surprised by 42cm wide flared gravel bars, I get they’re all the rage but for a generally road-ish bike and on an XS(!) frame, they were way too wide for me. I replaced them with 38cm drop bars that I find fit me way better and don’t provoke so much wrist pain. Luckily for me I just moved to gravel heaven so I hope it’ll be a good bike for the area.
