Replaced the Praxis chainring, which was dropping chain like crazy, with Absolute Black 38T/110 (from 40T). Not a single chain drop! Specialized should be ashamed of themselves for putting that shit on their bikes. Wonder if could get them to cover a part of the cost.
The second change I did was I changed the tyres to tubeless! Bought one of those Muc-Off kits and it worked beautifully. I did notice that the front tyre lost some pressure towards the end of the ride. Is this normal for the first proper ride after going tubeless? Should I just add a bit more sealant in there?
Overall, with the new chainring and tubeless tyres the bike felt much snappier. Not sure if it’s placebo effect or not, but I liked it.
