Hey everyone, just wanted to share a quick heads-up about Canyon bike warranties in the US. About a year ago, I bought a secondhand Canyon bike and recently discovered a crack in the frame. Knowing that secondhand buyers are covered under a two-year warranty globally, I reached out to Canyon’s customer support to file a claim.

However, I was surprised to learn that in the US, this policy doesn’t apply to secondhand buyers. In the States, only original buyers are eligible for the warranty, which covers the frame for six years. Secondhand buyers, like myself, have no warranty coverage at all. This is in contrast to international customers, where secondhand buyers do receive a two-year warranty.

Just thought this was worth mentioning for anyone in the US considering a secondhand Canyon bike!

It’s always been like this .. if you aren’t the purchaser with the original receipt or proof of purchase warranty is void
