Was looking for a good spec hardtail until they started pricing around the $1,000-1,200 mark. Then my buddy told me about a Canyon sale going on and I found this full suspension for $1,699.

I’ve done some research on forks and drivetrains but don’t know much about the rear suspension or geometry of a full suspension.
Is this a good option for my first mountain bike? Looking to do some trails and I spend a few weeks a year in Bentonville.

Great for the price but it is a pretty big bike, better for areas with steep stuff.
