Want to preface this by saying I know little to nothing about bikes, but I’ve definitely gathered from other posts that Huffy is not the way to go. However, I’m using this simply as a commuter bike and will be riding entirely on roads with bike lanes. Super easy and smooth commute, only 4 miles to work and back, five days a week. Would really really love to go as cheap as I possibly can without the bike breaking down in a couple weeks, ideally would keep it <$100. These are all on FB Marketplace and are described as having no functional issues. All are 26” and I’m 5’11, 190lbs if that’s relevant. I won’t be commuting forever, will likely leave my current job and no longer commute when I graduate in December of 2025. Thoughts? Can provide more pictures from listings if that’s helpful at all.

For commuting, no suspension. Get a rigid road bike. At this price point suspension is just heavy garbage that doesn’t work. So I’d none of the above.
Get a road bike and get one with thin slicks. It’ll make your journey MASSIVELY easier.
They are basically all garbage, I’d try to find a used road bike from 1992-2020 with Shimano 105/Tiagra/Ultegra and replace the tires with 28mm in the back, 25mm in the front.
It would make a super fun bike and its the best for commuting as you can easily take it in a train and it is lightweight.
A road bike is even even in bad weather, I rode mine through 8cm snow and a small snow storm this year
Alternatively a trekking bike like the Swinn/Bicicleta (italian for bice) with some conti contacts
The Schwinn wins!!
Avoid Avoid Avoid anything with front and rear suspension
only bike that would make any sense of this selection is the schwinn. If everything works, it can be a decent commuter. The others are a massive nope.
