I’ve got an ancient Brooks saddle. A junk shop find. It’s very out of shape. Would love to hear tips and tricks for reshaping the leather. I’ve read various posts about soaking and then re forming the leather. Has anyone had any success doing this?
This one has developed a ridge along the saddle. I guess from the previous riders uniquely shaped bottom. But this makes it incredibly uncomfortable for me! Any idea whether I can smooth this ridge out with soaking and reshaping ? Or anything else?

The ridge is from years leaning in a pile of bikes on its side. Seen it many times. I’ve never had any luck fixing them when they are that bad
Replace the leather.
