We had a lovely route planned, starting in Maisemore and heading through Tewkesbury and the surrounding areas. It was a beautiful ride for the first 20 or so miles until my cycling partner Tom @velovisualuk took a nasty spill in Tewkesbury. We ended up having to cut the ride short and limping back to the van. It was a slow process and rather painful for Tom but we made it back safely. Following this, we both decided to take out the cycle rescue insurance we’d been deliberating over.

Ouch!! 😞
That looked painful, I'm glad you're okay though! What was that alert thing Tom had? That seems really useful
Ouch! I was curious as to what happened? Looked like he was going to signal to turn – miss a gear, pot hole, or chain derailed? Glad he was otherwise okay.
I was out that way yesterday on my single speed. Loads of water coming off the fields. Dangerous as the water hides the potholes. In the UK we ride on the left of the road but in Gloucestershire we ride on what's left of the road!
