Hello ! I’m trying to set up my bike to go tubeless and I’m wondering if I have the good valve . I’m using the GT540 tubeless ready that came with a factory rim tape and tubeless ready tire . When I’m trying to inflate my tire , im getting air loss at the spoke and around the valve . I’m also using the tubeless valve that came with my bike . Am I using the correct tubeless valve or my rim tape is the problem? Thank you .
I know that valve can have different mesure but I wonder if the rubber base is the right one .

That valve looks right… Are you using the nut to tighten it and compress the rubber seal? Have you added sealant? Without those two this isn’t going to work.
Air loss is normal without sealant. It should be able to be inflated enough to seat the bead without sealant, but then it is normal for it to lose air.
