I bought pair of spezials yesterday. After one day of wearing them all time, at the end of the day my skin on heel was rubbed off. The problem is that back of the shoe is flexing when taking step. Anyone know why this happens?😢
Does these sneakers give away the traction sound from the outsole? Just as the Nike dunks give while walking on a smooth surface
spezials are my personal favorite – they actually run TTS and i love the rounded laces + structure of the shoe. agreed that the gazelles are the best in fun, colorful colorways but they run a half size big and not a fan of the looong laces

i love them all…however….the pointy toe box will kill you after a while….i have no switched to birkenstocks or barefoot shoes like xeros or shapen barefoot shoes.
Why you dont consider any durability? Its shoes for sporting activities, they have to stand the chellange and not just have color.
Also some of them ahve plastic-covered leather, which makes it way less breatheble, since they switched from Kengaroo leather

I spent some time looking for sambas but was discuraged by this plastic leather and was really looking for in depth comparision to know are they less durable to play football and to wear (yea I wanted to kill a few birds at the same time)
Im still a fan of dragons but samba are getting there. However why put the stripes in the sole part.???
I think you are one of the few people who speak with criteria, you have to wear what you like and forget about trends, you make your own style.

Definitely Gazelles. They are great fit and great colourways. Have Sambas in white but always go back to the Gazelles b/c of the fit.
Luv my Spezials and Gazelles, they go pretty much with my clothes…still considering to acquire a samba tho
Sambas are the most classic
So what the Hell happened to the original cushioned soles? When Gazelles first appeared they had the same wonderful cushioned soles as early Olympiads. Why doesn’t Adidas make good soles today. It’s sad.

The classic Handball's were always available in blue/white and in white/black. I always thought it was to separate them from the Samba's. The black HB aren't around that long (20 years?).
The Samba's actually are an indoor/hard court football shoe 🙂

I’ve always loved sambas while one of my brothers wears almost exclusively gazelles. We each love a different silhouette I’ve had a friend tell me she thought they looked like bowling shoes, but I love them and have all ways found them effortlessly chic. The point is find which you like and is comfortable and wear them. The heel tab in sambas is a bit higher just mush it around and it will soften up also a bit of alcohol before initial break in wears helps them out. I find often people fail to realize that even though it’s a sneaker it is leather and the material will soften with wear.
