    It’s called a cone, and the Shimano part number is Y21L98020 (source: https://si.shimano.com/en/pdfs/ev/HB-M510-1894/EV-HB-M510-1894.pdf). Now that you have the part # you can search for it online, just be aware that many of dealers that come up in the search will be out-of-stock on that part.

    >From memory there was 10 bearings I believe to be 1/4″.

    For a front hub, it will be 3/16″ bearings, 10 per side.

  2. It’s a cone, and while the replacement part might be available somewhere, it can sometimes be less expensive to buy a “new old stock” hub on eBay, and then use parts from that to rebuild your hub.
