Grizl 7 1by size

Hi!
I want to buy my first canyon bike but cannot decide on the right size.
I read some comments that it might be good to go for a smaller size if you are not sure which one to get. I made some measurements as canyon suggests but still not fully sure if M is the correct size.
I would be grateful for some support here, not sure if I can go with M it maybe should try to go for an S size. The bike is quite a big expense for me and would love to make it a perfect buy…
