I hope it isn't a Leinster v Toulouse final and either Harlequins or Northampton can pull off an upset, just so it isn't the two teams with the most expensive rostas in the final. But it looks unlikely.
Second half was manic. My bar here in SW France was in a state of permanent explosion. After the disappointment of yesterday perhaps not surprising, it was like a damn broke. But it was totally justified, Toulouse were outstanding. And the biggest cheer was for the return of Ramos, now what does Ugo do? Second biggest cheer. Jack Willis, man of the match. He was immense.
Are English teams the best starters in the CC? I think they have identified they cannot afford to get into a grind with these teams, and you need to force them to tear up their plans.
Quinns managed beautifully with Bordeaux, forcing them to change their plans and forcing them to run in the heat more than they would like. Saints came out of the blocks.
They now need to try and do this against the royalties of tolouse and Leinster. 1, can they? 2 will it be enough?
As an Irish fan……munster so not fully invested…..Toulouse look scary and if its Toulouse and Leicester it's going to be a very interesting clash of two teams, and 2 different styles, at the very top of their game.
I'm a big follower of your channel, but I can't agree with you on this. That french TV directors being biased thing is not a "stereotype for a reason". I watch British and South-Africans broadcasts too, and TV directors are no better. And you know what? I think it's just fine. It's part of the home advantage. So, it's just a stereotype, just like we don't always wear a beret and carry a baguette when we get out of the house. But that you know, you spent a great deal of time in France last summer… 😉🤗
Wow Tim I’ve been following since you were only about 5k followers and you’re flying now. Congratulations, well deserved mate! Agreed on what you’ve said here. Great games to follow
I'm stunned how biased you are, UK's TV are doing the same shit all the time, and you assume that it's a french thing, are you serious ?
And that ref was a bloody jock, instead of sin bin Mauvaka, he should had go for the Exeter hand's mistake in the ruck, then no penalty against Toulouse, and not try for Exeter to follow.
Player safety ? Not yellow for the player who cleared Dupont with his shoulder on Dupont's head ? Come on man, get your shit together.
Toulouse crowd justifiably unhappy, some poor decisions. Recently you said how impressed you were with the Toulouse defence. If you watched the Top 14 every week you'd realise that this is their weak point. Lowly teams have walked through them, fortunately their offence is magical.
A game is never decided by Half Time as Leinster knows after last year's final. Exeter gave a good account of themselves against a well financed Top Club. 🙂
I really enjoyed that first half. And then I missed the first 10 mins of the second half so when I tuned in again, I couldn't believe the score. Exeter were right in touch in that first half and deservedly so. Typical French crowd, no respect, no class, booing the officials, booing their own team. And then the TV broadcaster being completely subjective with what clips they were showing on the big-screen. Can't wait for Leinster to stuff Toulouse again if they meet in the final. Jack Willis was exceptional, some of the English lads playing in Europe are playing great Rugby. Not sure I agree with that rule, I think that they should be allowed to earn a living where-ever they want and still be allowed to play for their native country Internationally. This is obviously a very good Toulouse side, ROG seems to fancy them based on this post-match interview but I think its more likely sour grapes from ROG because it was Leinster that spanked them last night. It looks like a Toulouse v. Leinster final and it would make from a great final but Quins and the Saints might have a thing to say about that. English Rugby has turned a corner I think, the Jones nightmare is slowly but surely being forgot. Two teams in the last four, Imagine if they both got to the final. That would be some upset. Thanks Tim for the excellent and timely review. We were spoilt with some cracking games of Rugby this weekend. These are the good times !
I find funny to read comments discovering that French can boo and moan all the time… Don't you know yet that it's our gasoline? That's in part who we are, sorry. BUT we sometimes do it for good reasons, we hate bold and clear injustice being unpunished.
Exeter have done outstandingly well, with their young squad this season. Just wondering why the Bulls are being slammed for their performance, away from home against Northampton, with tough travel demands, also with a team filled with youngsters?
I mean you can’t really blame the French tv, when during the World Cup, for the first time it wasn’t the host nation that had the control over the tv images, we saw what happens in the quarter finals. And in fact, during the game, it’s the TMO who showed several time the same actions, which did include a high tackle (but I guess it’s not that important to protect players…)
I'm a partisan English man, but I'd have enjoyed the Toulouse game more if they hadn't been playing an English team. It has to be Toulouse v Leinster for the final.
As a French rugby fan living in the Gulf, I enjoy watching your posts coz they are always fair and unbiased. You appreciate great rugby and dislike unfairness, that’s great…Toulouse vs Leinster should be the final, but Quins and Northampton are 2 very good teams as well…and they have nothing ‘Toulouse’…😜
Some absurd ref decisions in the first half kept Exeter in the game. Fortunately that had no impact on the final result and fortunately the head contact didn't result in an injury.

Jack Willis alone is the reason we should select overseas players.Class
First half was amazing. But yes class told in the second half
Il est un peu gonflé de se plaindre que le réalisateur français influence le jeu. C'est l'hôpital qui se fout de la charité.

No Scottish accent imitation with a game like that from Blair Kinghorn? I'm a bit disappointed I must say haha
Keep it up!
Tim's top is in TK Max (I think, I'm pretty sure, or it's very smilier). I prefer the zipper
Good video except for the French TV director bit, which makes you sound like a QAnon dimwit
England should have like 5 slots available for foreign based players…surely that's not too much too ask?
Any thoughts on the Yeandal Eye gouge ?
Nothing wrong with a joke director showing a dangerous play to help his team, it's called home ground advantage

Was this a Exeter a plus b team,or was it part of 40 plus man squad.
So Toulouse are in the Semi finals. Hmmm this should be fun run in to Tottenham stadium final !
I hope Toulouse win the cup because they play the most beautiful rugby of the final four.
Now I feel bad saying Exeter should have sent their A Team.
Thank you Tim. France had a good game vs Italy in the W6N, just before the Toulouse vs Exeter plus ref combo.

64 😮
Fearfull for Quins in semi F 😮
Who are you going to put on the bench for Willis? He's amazing, but so is Earl, Jessum, and Underhill and a few other guys.

Toulouse are excellent.
Much more used to Irish directors doing this.

Jack Willis has improved so much !!! Bravo Mola !!!
