Trans Kernow is a biennial free route cycling event organised by the Rocket & Rascals in Plymouth. Set off from the harbourside café at dusk, each riders sought their own routes towards the two checkpoints located at the different ends of Cornwall (Polzeath & Penzance for this edition), and then returned to Plymouth. For me it involved going a bit off road to check out the heritage-laden Tin Coast to the north, as well as riding along the scenic coastal roads by the Whitsand Bay to the south. It was a ride full of beautiful scenery and challenging climbs, as well as interesting people and good vibes!
