Hi all, I don’t know how i did this, i did not ride over anything particularly bad. My thought is that perhaps someone stepped on the rim when the bike was parked, i found it with a flat when i came back to it. It looks like just a bend, no cracks yet, but i did not cycle with the rim after seeing this bend.
The rim is made of aluminum. DT swiss gr 1600 spline.
Is it possible to repair? I would try to unbend it, but would that be fully ok and safe to ride if i see no cracks, or the rim is done and i need a new one?

It is possible to bend a dent out of alloy rims but that is a big dent, chances are the whole room is bent rather than just the sidewall
I’d bend it and send it. Or at least give it a try.
I’ve seen worse. You can bend it back and it works, or you bend it back and the rim cracks in the process, which leaves you exactly where you are right now.
Everyone on here is way too risk adverse. This is a common issue with a common back room fix that works all the time.

Take your wheel to a decent wheel repairer and ask them.
If it were an old steel rim, you could use a crescent wrench to bend it back in place…but not this fancy new aluminum stuff you kids have nowadays. I’m 30. I’m old. 👴
For the wall, you can use an adjustable wrench to bend it back. If the rim itself is deformed (if it’s no longer circular), that can’t really be fixed. But if it’s minor it’s fine.
I rode a rim just like this for a couple years before I blew it up for an unrelated reason.
