I am quite new to MTB, i started riding trails late last year, i got myself a 2017 Giant stance 2, Its been good, but recently one of my shifter fell apart, i have ordered a replacement. I have been looking around online and found a nice dual suspention bike, buts it seens very cheap for something like this, though is seems to have quite good parts.
It looks very simular to an XDS octane 3.0 – [https://www.progearbikes.com.au/products/dual-suspension-mtb-29-sandstorm?variant=43677693346067](https://www.progearbikes.com.au/products/dual-suspension-mtb-29-sandstorm?variant=43677693346067)
Is it worth getting this bike, or should i keep my stance 2 and add a dropper to you and keep riding it?
I am looking for a bike max 1000 AUD, i would happely look at higher end second hand bikes, The i am mostly worried about the stance 2 suspention life as it is an old bike.
Note; I would sell the Stance 2 to cover most or all of the cost of the new bike.

I don’t know “ProGear Bikes.” It looks like a downgrade compared to the Stance to me.
It’s a shock smaller than you’ll see on a kids full suspension and a no-name fork. Hard pass, keep your bike.

another link for the same bike, but this one is branded.
That’s a downgrade. Hard pass.
