recently bought a new framset but found out that it didn’t come with holes to install a bottle cage. hence I bought an adapter. it came with zip ties but I’m not sure on how to use them. pls advice.

I’m failing to identify how the zip ties would be utilized in this application. Hopefully someone who has experience with this product will chime in. Maybe the zip ties are for unusual mounting locations… Like on a seat stay or something?
Have you tried installing a cage and bottle to see if it is secure as-is? Sorry that may sound like a stupid/condescending question lol, I’m just trying to make sure I’ve got the full picture here.
I’ve always used metal hose clamps and electrical tape to mount cages on my track frames, but I completely understand the desire for a more elegant solution.
I read lots and lots of reviews saying they scratch and ruin your frame
Adapter may go loose for riding / potholes / vibrations. Use zipties to secure and hold tight the adapter on the tube just like that

you might want to put some tape under where the bottle cage adapters would go in case they start moving and scratching up the paint, but I can’t see where those zip ties would go either…. 🤔
You should just drill holes or use a saddle mount bottle cage holder. Those tend to slip a lot and ruin the paint on the frame when used without a protective layer
