Hello! I’m new to the subreddit and I was doing maintenance on my bike because I’ve gotten into biking to lose weight and recently my father said the bearings are going bad. I just need to tell what kind of bearing size they are so I can compare prices so I know if I shouldn’t bother if it’s too expensive. Thanks a bunch from NV!

Take the bearing out, read the code that is on the dust seal of the sealed bearing, google search.
We will not be able to tell you what bearing you have without more information, as hubs are different between companies and realisticallythe only standard is a 14mm axle that is 110mm wide… Also you didnt specify if its bottom bracket, headset, or hub bearings so….yeah.
If they are loose ball bearings, measure the size with calipers, and pick up an assorted 500 pack. They come with a bunch of sizes. Do keep in mind there is metric and imperial ball bearings.
Bearings are bad? Id check the freewheel and cassette first to see if it isn’t just gunked and filthy. Bearings are pretty resilient if sealed. If they aren’t sealed clean and regrease.
As another user pointed out, we cannot provide information on the bearings by a distance, its easier to see some close up shots.
I know from looking at prices for new sealed bearings for my front and rear hub recently they were between $5 and $30 for a 2 pack on Amazon. Didn’t end up buying them and just soaked the bearings in 3in1 oil with the dust covers off. Then re-greased them and put the dust covers back in after I cleaned all the oil and debris out. Hammered them back in to the hubs (carefully) and they’re good to go. Not like new at all, but much better than they were.
