Hi guys! I would like to ask for advice regarding this bike and wondering if somebody had experience with this model. I am considering buying this bike:

Untill now I have ridden hardtail MTBs but I need a cheap run-around city/road/trekking bike. However in my city, they are either expensive new hybrids or old heavy rusty steel bikes. I never had fixed fork bike nor single speed (or fixie).
I saw that this bike in 2011 had RSP around 600-900 euros, dollars or british pounds, while used, depending on condition, they are sold for as low as 250 dollars, or 350 pounds for some in good condition.
This particular bike has quite a few straches. Missing chain guard or original seat, but has set of relatively new Schwalbe Marathon Plus tyres and new brake pads (not sure if that is proper translation to English but I think you will understand). Current owner thinks it is really old bike. Mechanically it is fine (not much to go wrong).
I can get it for just 100 euros, which is my budget for cheap city bike. What do you think of it? Is there possibility of something going wrong with that carbon fork? Are small potholes actual threat to them? Any other factors to take into consideration with this type of bike?

For 100 euros, Grab it! Look for those potholes around. It will survive for a decades.
