Looking for a first bike and deciding between a maybe 54cm 2017 Raleigh Merit 2 (asking $400, first three pictures) and a 56cm unknown year Specialized Allez (asking $600). The main difference to me seems to be the disc brakes on the Merit 2, but since I’m new to bikes, I’m looking for some more knowledgable opinions.

The Raleigh is a good bike for that price. That specialized is way over priced.
