Just ordered my first gravel bike, Curve GXR. Extremely excited to say the least. First drop bar bike since the early 2000’s actually, so the wider smooth tires are something completely new to me.

Anyone have any wild guesses on the tire size, and possibly even the tire model, in the picture?

I am planning what wheel setup to use for some of my “smooth” routes, which is 80% pavement 20% gravel. And I like the way these tires fill the frame..

Obviously would be very hard knowing from the image, but someone else’s guess would be better than mine I thought. Thank you

  2. They look like Rene Herse 700C x 44 Snoqualmie Pass. I could obviously be wrong but that’s what my eyes see. Rene Herse makes excellent tires

Sure isn’t the Pirelli p zero 40mm that were supposed to release last year lol

  4. That looks like a prototype, no headtube badge, different finish on the downtube, old sram force levers, etc.

My guess would be its from 2016/17, so unlikely to be any of the current crop of gravel tyres.
