    Tire bulges out when trying to inflate new inner tube

      This is not going to work.

      The edges of the tire have to be between the lips of the rim.

      Set the bead of the tire inside the rim on both sides then try inflating. Do your best to make sure the tire is seated properly on all sides first.

      Look at your other tire, the one on the other wheel. Try to copy what you see on the good tire.

      Also, what caused the other inner tube to lose air? If you don’t fix the problem, it will cause the new tube to puncture.

      The bead of the tire needs to sit inside the edges of the rim. There should be a physical ‘hump’ on the inside of the rim that will hold the bead of the tire in place. You will need to roll both edges of the tire into the rim. Someone else posted a video guide, I suggest starting there. Good luck!
