NEW ROUTE – CYCLING IN THE ARDENNES

Take me back is a ride added to the list for spring 2022 to celebrate the HQ re-opening after a winter stop !
In our opinion the ride fits in the TOP3 of GPX routes shared so far.

If you like ‘ exploration ‘ rides where you end up in remote natural beauty and you don’t mind a few narrow dirty asphalt roads, this is for you…

Although there is 1800M of elevation all climbs are below 10% and steady to ride up.

After climbing Le Rosier South you head over to the Gileppe lake entering beautiful forest roads towards Eupen.
From here you are in a remote area from La Gileppe to the Eupen lake and up towards Monschau with amazing scenery.
Expect steady climbing riding on few amazing straight roads on top of the Fagnes worth the shot.

Monschau is a beautiful German village good for your coffee & apple pie stop.

Riding back to Le Coffee Ride from this point is beautiful and quite easy as most of it is ravel roads all the way down.
