So I would love to do this route one day, maybe as soon as January-March 2025! I am finishing up a 2 year college diploma in programming and would love to cap if off with a bike tour.
Wild camping is permitted in most of the area I believe. Does anyone have information regarding how it is to find wild camp spots?
I am based in Ottawa, Canada, and to get to Bariloche it seems the best way would be to fly Montreal to Buenos Aires, then fly to Bariloche. Would that make sense? Or is there a better way?
Apart from Camping gear and repair kit, is there anything not too obvious I should bring for the route?
There’s a few National Parks along the way, and potentially some Towns i might like to walk around in. Would you feel safe leaving your bike at a hostel? Or what is the best option for bike storage?
Thanks to anyone who can offer some advice!

I did that route many years back. Amazing stuff…. Too far back for relevant advice, I’m afraid. But it was certainly worth doing! Get ready for wind.
