Does anyone know what that could be? Got a new half link chain and it is pretty tight but the guys at the bike shop said it was not the chain. Maybe the bottom bracket or sprocket. How do I know what the problem is

I am subbed for the answer. I get this intermittently – it really doesn’t bother me when riding, but it’s very much there.
New half links in old drivers almost always have issues on meshing properly, especially on profile drivers
Do you have a lot of offset going from the driver to the sprocket.. in other words is your chain on an angle due to too many spacers at the sprocket?
